  • RV Advice of the WWW: Free advice relating to all recreational vehicles. This is a huge website with a wealth of information.
  • Car Talk: Is your car or RV's engine acting up? Need some advice? Then you need Click and Clack. These two fellows from Boston have a huge following on National Public Radio, mixing solid advice with humor. Listen to the show at the website.
     
  • Elvis' Travel Trailer Did you know that "The King" and wife Priscilla received a travel trailer as a wedding gift, and that they actually used it? Yup. It's true, but perhaps even more incredible is that this little RV may have contributed to their divorce.
     
  • Gold Maps: Learn all about recreational gold prospecting and buy maps, too.
     
  • RV Journal is a fine magazine about RVing in the Southwest. The website has a wealth of information including articles from the current issue.
  • Fire and RVs: Fire can destroy an RV just as it can a regular home. When you consider the many potential sources of ignition -- gasoline, propane, flammable liquids, and complex electrical circuits, fire is a real safety concern. A fire can completely engulf an RV in a matter of minutes. This website helps promote awareness of the possible hazards.
  • RV Trader: Explore a huge database of new and used RVs. Or place an ad.
  • The Lincoln Highway, 1917: Back when most of us weren't born or were just wee babes, Will Whittemore, his wife and a Mrs. Servis traveled by Model T from Nebraska to California on the then-dirt Lincoln Highway. The Lincoln, of course, was America's first coast-to-coast highway. If you think a roadtrip today in our comfy RVs is a bit of an adventure. . . well, it pales by comparison to what these folks experienced.
